Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: June 26, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the website and the services provided by Prospect Home Care Services. By booking a caregiver with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following rules and regulations.
1. Scope of Service
Prospect Home Care Services acts as a professional matchmaking and verification agency for home-based baby care, infant care, postnatal support, and mother care across Chennai. We deploy experienced, police-verified, and reference-checked staff. However, caregivers are deployed at the client's home, and the daily supervision of the caregiver remains the responsibility of the client.
2. Contract Duration & Early Termination
Our monthly and yearly service packages are subject to structured commitments to ensure stability for both the family and the caregiver:
- Monthly Commitment: All standard monthly packages require a minimum commitment of three (3) months.
- Early Termination Fee: If a monthly contract is cancelled by the client before completing the 3-month minimum period, a penalty fee equivalent to 15 days of the caregiver's salary will be charged to the client.
- Notice Period: Any termination of services requires a prior written notice of at least two (2) weeks.
3. 1-Year Service Guarantee & Replacements
Service Guarantee: Under our 1-Year Service Guarantee, if a deployed caregiver is unable to continue due to personal emergencies, health issues, or if you are unsatisfied with their service performance after a 14-day trial period, the agency will provide a replacement caregiver at no additional registration charge.
- Replacement Timeline: The agency will attempt to source and deploy a qualified replacement caregiver within seven (7) working days of receiving written notification from the client.
- Patience Period: Clients must give a deployed caregiver a minimum of one week to adapt to the family's schedule and baby's routines.
4. Payment Terms & Late Fees
Timely payments are vital to maintain consistent care services:
- Salary Due Date: Caregiver salaries and agency commission fees must be cleared on or before the 5th of every month.
- Non-Payment: If payments are delayed beyond the 5th, services will be put on hold immediately, and the agency reserves the right to terminate the service agreement without notice.
- Payment Route: For elderly care and specialized trained attendees, salaries must be routed through the agency. For standard baby care, payments are processed as agreed in the individual deployment contract.
5. Strictly Prohibited Direct Hiring (Poaching)
CAUTION: Clients are strictly prohibited from hiring or entering into direct private contracts with any caregiver introduced by Prospect Home Care Services without the agency's written consent. Violation of this clause will result in the immediate forfeiture of the security deposit, a poaching penalty charge, and voids all service guarantees.
6. Theft & Liability Disclaimer
While Prospect Home Care Services performs rigorous background checks (including identity verification, Aadhar check, reference screening, and police verification), the caregiver performs services directly inside the client's home.
- The agency is not responsible for any loss, theft of assets, property damage, or any physical or psychological harm caused by the caregiver.
- Clients are strongly advised to secure cash, gold, jewelry, electronic devices, and other valuables. We recommend keeping lockable spaces locked during shifts.
